Long-term Disability (LTD)
The City does not pay into state disability. Instead, there are self-funded LTD plans for each bargaining unit. Click on the corresponding link below to view the LTD benefits for your bargaining unit. Fees for LTD benefits are paid by the City; however, the Employee's Association and Employee's League groups have optional benefits available at an additional cost to the employee (see below).

How to calculate the cost of your premium
- Use your pre-disability monthly earnings (base salary), not to exceed $9,000 per month.
- Multiply your pre-disability monthly earnings by $0.0031 to find your estimated monthly premium.
- Example: $4,751.00 x 0.0031 = $14.73
- Your estimated monthly premium for coverage under Plan 2 would be $14.73 per month.
